Hospitality · Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula & Bass Coast VIC, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview

Have you led a dining room where every guest leaves impressed? A premium farm-to-table fine dining venue in Victoria is looking for a proven restaurant leader to run its front-of-house operations.

The employer wants someone whose track record can be checked through real experience, qualifications and leadership skills, and who brings trusted expertise, polished service standards and strong operational discipline. Sponsorship is part of it, but it is not the only focus.

You will shape the guest experience, grow the front-of-house team and keep the standards expected of a premium venue. International hospitality experience is highly valued, so years spent in hotels and restaurants in the Philippines or abroad can work in your favour.

  • Work hand in hand with the kitchen team so the restaurant runs efficiently and seamlessly
  • Prepare weekly rosters based on bookings, events, seasonal demand and operational needs, while monitoring labour performance and supporting workforce planning
  • Look after beverage and front-of-house stock levels, coordinate purchasing, and keep an eye on wastage, breakage and stock usage for responsible cost control
  • Keep operational systems running and help with accurate daily reporting
  • Spot ways to improve service consistency, efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Make sure food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and responsible service standards are kept, along with venue procedures, licensing requirements and applicable regulations

  • A WSET qualification is the minimum required
  • Excellent English communication skills, with additional European language skills being advantageous
  • A calm, professional approach to guest service and team leadership
  • Sharp attention to detail and commitment to premium hospitality standards
