The café is independently owned, rated highly by its customers, and proud of its creative menu, quality produce and food made from scratch in-house.
The owners are hands-on and the team is growing. They are open to a range of experience: a seasoned Chef, a Senior Cook who feels ready to step up, or someone working at Sous Chef or Head Chef level. The final responsibilities will depend on your skills and your potential as a leader. Service is fast and high volume, mostly during the day, and the position is full-time.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate quality breakfast and lunch dishes
- Keep every dish fresh, consistent and nicely presented
- Look after prep, smooth kitchen operations, food safety, cleanliness and stock
- Support your teammates during busy services and offer ideas for the menu and the kitchen
- Grow into leadership, training and kitchen management duties where suitable
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven work experience in a professional commercial kitchen
- Confidence under pressure in busy services
- Pride in presentation, consistency and food quality
- Organised and efficient
- A good team player
- A positive attitude
- A strong work ethic and comfortable with early starts and working weekends
- Previous leadership experience highly regarded
