Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Hi kabayan! Before you trust us with your CV, you deserve to know where it goes. This page tells you, in everyday words, what information reaches PinoyAbroad (pinoyabroad.ph), why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is confusing, message us and we will gladly explain.
1. The short version
- You don't need an account to use PinoyAbroad. There are no sign-up pages and no forms that send your personal details to our website.
- When you apply, your own email app sends your message to us. You decide what to attach.
- We read what you send, and we may pass your application to the employer behind the job you picked.
- Our web server keeps basic request logs for 30 days, mainly for security.
- Two analytics tools, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, show us how the site gets used. They use cookies. We don't show ads.
2. Who runs PinoyAbroad?
PinoyAbroad is one of the job platforms of Red Migration FZC (Red Migration FZC). Our office is at 108, 6th Street, Al Hamriya, Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
For your personal information, that company is the one in charge. In privacy language, we are the "controller". You can reach us by email at jobs@pinoyabroad.ph, by phone or WhatsApp on +971 50 283 2394, or through our contact page.
3. What do we collect when you apply or message us?
Pressing Apply on a job doesn't upload anything to our website. Instead, it takes you to our contact page, where the email link opens the email program on your phone or computer with a ready-made message to jobs@pinoyabroad.ph. The subject line already shows the job title and job ID. You add whatever you like, then hit send yourself.
Most people include things like:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- your CV, work history and qualifications;
- passport or visa details, if you choose to share them;
- anything else you write in the message or attach.
The same goes for WhatsApp. If you tap Ask on WhatsApp or Chat on WhatsApp, a direct chat with our team opens (https://wa.me/971502832394). We then see your WhatsApp name, your number and whatever you send us. Our contact page lists our email, phone and WhatsApp, but there is no contact form.
Following our WhatsApp channel for job alerts (https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaA5l8u1yT2Ib8YctW22) happens inside WhatsApp itself. Our site only links to it. WhatsApp, which is part of Meta, handles that under its own terms and privacy policy.
4. What does the website itself record?
Searching jobs and using the filters all happens in your browser and in the page address. Your searches aren't saved to any database of ours. Our analytics tools do count the keyword you search for, as the next section explains.
Like nearly every web server, ours writes a short note for each page request. Google Cloud, where the site runs, keeps these request logs. Each one shows your IP address, your browser type (the user agent), the page you asked for and the time. We use them to spot attacks and fix problems. They are kept for 30 days by default.
Our server also looks at your IP address for a moment, in memory, to count how many requests come in. This rate limiting helps stop people from flooding the site.
5. Do we use analytics?
Yes, kabayan. To learn how people use PinoyAbroad, we run two tools: Google Analytics 4, from Google LLC, and Microsoft Clarity, from Microsoft Corporation. They tell us which pages get viewed, how far down a page people scroll, which buttons and links get clicked, and the device, browser and country of each visit. Both tools use cookies and similar technologies.
Microsoft Clarity also records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and turns them into heatmaps and session replays. Whatever is typed into a form field is masked. Microsoft may also use this data for advertising, as the Microsoft Privacy Statement describes.
We don't send your name, your email address or what you write in forms to either service. The only exception is the keyword you type into the job search, which Google Analytics counts as a search term. The advertising features of Google Analytics are switched off.
Want the details? Read Google's privacy policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement. To keep Google Analytics out of your browser, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies these tools use.
6. What about our staff sign-in?
A small private area lets our team post jobs and articles. Staff sign in with Firebase Authentication, a Google service. Only staff accounts on our allow-list can get in. Visitors never need to sign in, so this only involves our own team members' sign-in details.
7. How do we use your information?
We use what you share to:
- review your application and see whether you fit the role you chose;
- pass your application to the employer offering that role, so they can consider you;
- reply to your questions and keep you updated about your application;
- suggest other suitable roles, and share your details with other employers only if you agree;
- keep the website safe, working and free of abuse;
- meet any legal duties we have.
8. What gives us the right to use it?
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may ask us to name a reason, or "legal basis", for each use. Where that applies, we rely on:
- Your consent, for example when you choose to email us your CV or agree that we can show it to other employers.
- Steps you ask for before a possible job contract, which means handling your application for a role.
- Our legitimate interests in running a working, secure job site and protecting it from misuse.
- Legal obligations, when a law requires us to keep or disclose something.
If we rely on your consent, you can take it back at any time by telling us. That won't undo anything we did before you told us.
9. Who might see your information?
Only the people who need it to help you, or who keep our systems running:
- Our recruitment team, who read and review your application.
- The employer offering the job you applied for. We may send them your application and CV so they can consider you. Other employers only see it if you agree. Most employers are in Australia and New Zealand.
- Our service providers. Google Cloud hosts the website and its logs. Our email service provider handles the mail you send us. WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send there.
- Authorities, such as a court or government body, if the law requires us to share something.
10. Does your information travel to other countries?
Yes, and it helps to know where. Our company is in the United Arab Emirates. The website runs on Google Cloud in Singapore. If you apply for a role, your details may go to an employer in Australia or New Zealand. Our email provider, WhatsApp and Google may handle data in other countries too.
These places may have privacy rules that differ from those at home. Where the law calls for it, we take reasonable steps so your information stays protected when it moves.
11. How long do we keep it?
We keep your application emails and WhatsApp chats only as long as we need them to handle your application and the recruitment that follows, and to meet any legal duties. There is no fixed timer on this. You can ask us to delete them at any time, and we will tell you if a legal reason means we must keep something.
Server request logs are kept for 30 days by default.
12. How do we keep it safe?
- Every page loads over a secure HTTPS connection, and browsers are told to always use it (HSTS).
- Our database can't be reached directly from the internet. All reads and writes go through our own server.
- Only allow-listed staff can sign in to the admin area.
- Rate limiting slows down anyone trying to hammer the site.
No system is perfect, though. Please think twice before emailing very sensitive papers, and only send what an employer actually needs at this stage.
13. What rights do you have?
Your rights depend on the laws that apply to you. Where they apply, these may include the right to:
- find out what information we hold about you and get a copy;
- have mistakes corrected;
- have your information deleted;
- object to, or ask us to limit, some uses;
- withdraw consent you gave earlier;
- complain to a privacy regulator.
Everyone
Because our company is based in the UAE, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) may apply to how we handle your information, where applicable.
If you are in the Philippines
The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) may also give you rights, where applicable. These include being informed, accessing and correcting your data, objecting, and asking for erasure.
Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere
If you live in Australia, New Zealand or another country, your local privacy laws may give you similar rights. Just ask, and we will look at what applies to you.
14. How can you use those rights?
Send an email to jobs@pinoyabroad.ph and tell us what you would like. Please use the same email address or WhatsApp number you contacted us from, so we can find your details. We may ask a question or two to confirm it's really you before we act.
15. Is the site meant for children?
No. PinoyAbroad is for adults looking for work, and it isn't aimed at anyone under 18. If you think a young person has sent us their details, let us know and we will remove them.
16. What about links to other websites?
Some pages link to other places, such as WhatsApp, YouTube or government websites. Those sites run separately from ours and follow their own privacy policies. Our footer also has other websites we link to: Build AI CV (buildaicv.com), Talent Tabloid (talenttabloid.com) and Skills Assessment Australia (rpldirect.com.au). Each of them has its own privacy and cookie policies, so read them before you share anything there. Our Cookie Policy explains what outside services like Google Fonts and YouTube may see.
17. Will this policy change?
Probably, as our site grows or the law moves on. When we update it, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is big, we will make it easy to notice.
18. How can you reach us?
We're happy to help with any privacy question:

- Phone or WhatsApp: +971 50 283 2394 (open a chat)
