Here you would be the nurse who greets and triages patients, keeps chronic disease plans and health assessments moving, and handles skilled tasks like spirometry, ECGs, venesections and iron infusions. Childhood immunisations and wound care are part of the week too.
Have you worked in general practice before? That is preferable, but not the end of the road: the clinic offers on-the-job training to the right candidate. Temporary Residence / Permanent Residence sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Be the friendly first contact for patients, answering phones when required
- Triage patients
- Put together chronic disease management plans
- Carry out health assessments
- Keep the recall and reminder system up to date
- Control stock and place orders
- Look after the cold chain
- Run ECG and spirometry testing
- Perform IV procedures: iron infusions and venesections
- Look after wound management and immunisations, childhood immunisations included
- Assist with minor procedures, maintain equipment and support the GPs and staff as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Unconditional registration with AHPRA, currently held
- Current immunisations certificate (or the willingness to complete training)
- CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Good work ethic, organisational skills and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- General practice experience is preferable
