Kabayan, if month-end close is where you shine, this Melbourne opening is worth a look. A high-growth digital marketplace business in Australia's digital platform and technology sector is looking for a Financial Accountant, and the role is designed to start temporary and lead into permanent full-time employment.
You will report to the Financial Controller and stay in step with the CFO on day-to-day operations. Your work keeps the group's month-end disciplined, its balance sheet accurate and every entity's statutory obligations on track. An assistant accountant takes care of the daily transactions, so you can focus on reviewing the core ledgers and supporting simple cash and budgeting routines. The focus is foundational accounting and clean reports.
There is good news for eligible Working Holiday visa holders already in Australia with proven accounting capability, as full visa sponsorship is available to them.
Whether your experience comes from Manila or from an OFW posting, set it out clearly on an English CV, from the ledgers you have closed to the tax lodgements you have handled and the systems you use, Xero included. Get your Financial Accountant CV ready for Melbourne with Build AI CV.
