A progressive boutique firm on the edge of the city is hiring a full-time Junior or Intermediate Accountant for its Tax & Business Services team.
You would be helping a diverse set of clients with accounting, tax and business advisory needs. Good news for people who like careful work: the firm charges fixed fees, so there are no timesheets and no traditional targets, just a focus on quality, efficiency and real results for clients. A Senior Manager will work beside you and mentor you along the way.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BAS and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Put together financial statements for the same range of clients
- Assist the team with taxation compliance
- Support general business services work
- Coordinate with the ATO, ASIC and other relevant authorities, working closely with senior team members on quality work and excellent client outcomes
- Learn tax planning and business advisory services as your experience develops
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum of 18 months' experience in Australian public practice accounting
- A background on the Tax & Business Services side of public practice
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- Currently working towards your CA or CPA, or interested in completing the qualification
- Hands-on experience with Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- A positive, motivated attitude and a sincere desire to keep growing in your accounting career
