Assistant Chef
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Contract · $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Kabayan, if you love cooking for a crowd, this Sydney opening could suit you. A pub there has just been taken over by new owners, and they are looking for an Assistant Chef who brings enthusiasm, new ideas and the drive to keep growing.
The owners are planning a full renovation of the hotel, more entertainment and a reputation as a friendly neighbourhood and sports venue known for its food. Lunch and dinner are served daily across several areas, so the kitchen stays busy.
The role is casual. You would work lunch and dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays, then lunch or dinner on weekends, with more hours expected as the pub grows. Being able to start immediately counts strongly in your favour. The venue may be able to offer sponsorship opportunities to the right candidate.
If you have cooked in hotels, resorts or on ships abroad, put that experience front and centre in an English CV, along with your food safety know-how. Start your CV for this kitchen role with Build AI CV.
