Support Worker

Visa sponsorship

Community Services · Kalgoorlie, WA, Australia · Contract · $50,000 - $70,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Kabayan, if caring for others comes naturally to you, here is a casual Support Worker role in Kalgoorlie, WA worth reading. A community organisation in regional Western Australia that supports people with disability is looking for workers who believe everyone deserves to live their own life, their own way.

The heart of the job is person-centred support. You will help people develop skills, manage household tasks and receive personal care, both at home and when they are out in the community. Every person has a plan, and you will follow it closely, from daily activities to outings and leisure time. You will also encourage friendships and personal interests and respect each person's choices.

Good record keeping counts here too. Reports need to be done on time, the coordinator kept in the loop and private matters kept confidential. For the right candidates, there is a sponsorship opportunity.

If you have cared for family or worked in care overseas, make that experience visible. List your First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check and caregiving duties in an English CV, and polish your disability caregiver CV with Build AI CV.
