Key Responsibilities
- Listen to stakeholders, understand the business requirements and shape them into technical designs and specifications
- Code, test and care for applications in JavaScript/Node.js, React, Python and C#/.NET
- Craft RESTful APIs, maintain them, and link applications with their SQL and NoSQL databases
- Bring AI into the applications with chatbots, automated workflows and large language model (LLM) integrations
- Prepare the data, then build, train and evaluate machine learning models for classification, analytics and prediction
- Deploy applications to AWS or Azure cloud environments with the help of CI/CD pipelines, and manage them after release
- Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot issues and resolve defects promptly, and join the team's code reviews to uphold best practices in performance, security and code quality
- Look after technical documentation, user guides and test records, and offer maintenance, enhancements and technical support for the systems already running
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, or professional experience that is equivalent
- Commercial experience in software design, development and testing for a minimum of 3 years
- Strong Python programming skills together with experience in React, Node.js or C#/.NET
- Proven experience in designing APIs and handling relational (SQL) databases
- Hands-on experience using AI/ML tools and frameworks like PyTorch, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or the OpenAI API
- A sound understanding of testing methodologies, version control (Git) and software architecture, and experience as part of Agile or Scrum teams
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
