An IT consultancy that has served finance, telecommunications, government and enterprise organisations since 2003 is hiring several Senior Network Engineers for long-term contracts with a major bank.
The bank is modernising its infrastructure and technology, and you would help it move in large migration phases. Day to day, you design the important networking pieces, build them carefully and hand them over so the bank's teams can carry on smoothly.
Because the work is strictly onsite, this opening is for onshore candidates living in Sydney with a valid work visa. The good news is that visa sponsorship and existing visa takeover opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and configure complex network constructs on Cisco ASA and ACI
- Work from high-level design specifications to produce firewall configurations that are ready to use
- Handle passive and canary deployments while validating rule sets
- Manage and configure F5 GTM and LTM appliances that share out traffic
- Support high availability and disaster recovery compliance through F5 integration
- Prepare rigorous change control and rollback procedures, then follow them through, and keep an eye on performance after deployment with documentation ready for handover
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, APIC and Cisco ASA environments
- Proven track record in deploying and troubleshooting enterprise firewall policy
- Expertise in supporting and configuring F5 GTM and LTM appliances
- Solid understanding of performance monitoring and network capacity planning
- CCNP / CCIE, or equivalent industry certifications, highly regarded
- Currently based in Sydney
- Holding a valid work visa, since the roles are strictly onsite
