Key Responsibilities
- Turn client requirements into web and software applications by designing, developing and maintaining them
- Craft responsive front-end interfaces with ReactJS
- Develop the back-end services, APIs and databases and bring them together through integration
- Keep your code clean, testable and properly documented, and share in code reviews, testing and debugging with the QA team
- Lend support to deployment, using CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- Sit down with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver solutions on schedule, and keep pace with new technologies and best practices
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering, or in a related field of study
- Commercial software development work totalling 2 to 4 years
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS, plus back-end experience in at least one of Node.js, .NET, Java or Python
- Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience of Git and of working the agile way
- Clear English communication, whether written or verbal, and full working rights in Australia
- Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure) and familiarity with these DevOps tools, Docker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
