Kabayan, if high and medium voltage engineering is your field, here is an opening worth a look. A leading Australian electrical engineering and manufacturing business in Brisbane is hiring an HV/MV Electrical Engineer to join its growing engineering team.
The company handles the full life of low, medium and high voltage infrastructure, from design and build to testing and commissioning. You would work around switchboards, motor control centres, switchrooms, transportable substations, power distribution systems and protection and control panels made for utilities, mining, renewable energy, infrastructure and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Engineering work on HV and MV electrical systems, including switchgear, switchboards, transportable substations and switchrooms
- Supporting power distribution projects as well as protection and control projects
- Interpreting electrical drawings, technical documents and specifications
- Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality and project teams
- Sharing technical input across those teams on each project
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holds Australian registration as an Electrical Engineer
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the industry
- Has worked with HV and/or MV electrical systems
- Experience in substations, switchgear, switchboards, power distribution or protection and control systems is highly regarded
- Can interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Strong in technical work and problem solving
- Understands the relevant Australian Standards and works effectively with engineering, manufacturing, project and testing teams
