You will be the person families and educators both rely on, setting the tone for the team, keeping children safe, meeting the national quality rules and making sure the centre stays full.

Key Responsibilities
- Be a mentor and a steady support to your educators so their programs stay high in quality.
- Follow and uphold the NQF, the National Law & Regulations and every service policy.
- Keep improving the service and hold it to high standards under the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Get to know families well and connect warmly with the wider community.
- Handle enrolments and occupancy, keeping the service sustainable.
- Make the centre a safe, inclusive and child-focused place to learn, guided by the Child Safe Standards and a team culture that puts child safety at the top.
- Steer the centre's overall performance: occupancy, how the team performs and regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience in a leadership position in early childhood education, with a proven record.
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, and the demonstrated ability to guide a team with warmth, clarity and professionalism.
- Excellent skills in communication and in building good relationships.
- Real passion for high-quality care and education.
- A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, or an equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA.
- Up-to-date Working With Children Check, First Aid and other relevant clearances, along with Child Safety and Child Protection Training that is also current.
