Your days would mix caring for existing accounts with chasing new ones. Key Responsibilities
- Take care of independent customers and key accounts, and grow that portfolio
- Nurture strong relationships with customers over the long term
- Spot chances to raise sales and expand existing accounts
- Go after new business opportunities
- Listen to customers closely so you understand their needs and see commercial openings
- Keep an eye on sales performance and reach the targets agreed with you
- Share market and customer insights, represent the brand well and own your territory's results
Requirements & Eligibility
- A commercially hungry, ambitious and proactive person who likes a hands-on approach
- Experience in FMCG, retail, wholesale, field sales or another related environment
- Strong understanding of retail and independent customers, plus a commercial mindset focused on sales growth
- Proven experience in account management, sales or business development
- Excellent skills in building relationships, communicating, negotiating and influencing
- Confidence to see opportunities and turn them into results, and the ambition to take the next step in your career
