Good with membranes or tiles? A construction and renovation business in Queensland needs an experienced Qualified Waterproofer and a Qualified Tiler for ongoing residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Waterproof bathrooms, balconies, wet areas and structural applications
- Prepare surfaces and substrates, then apply membranes, sealants and other waterproofing products
- Finish each waterproofing installation to the project's requirements, with accurate, professional workmanship
- Check surfaces and completed waterproofing for quality and compliance
- Work side by side with builders, tilers and other trades
- Follow the relevant Australian Standards, site procedures and WHS requirements
- Lay wall and floor tiles on residential and commercial projects
- Measure, cut and set tiles accurately to the project requirements
- Get surfaces ready for tiling, and handle grouting, sealing and detailed finishing
- Read construction drawings, plans and specifications
- Coordinate tiling with waterproofing and other site works, fixing any quality issues you find
- Keep work areas safe, tidy and organised on every project
Requirements & Eligibility
- Waterproofer: Recognised Waterproofing Qualification
- Waterproofer: Minimum two years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Waterproofer: proven hands-on experience on residential or commercial waterproofing projects
- Waterproofer: knowledge of waterproofing practices, building requirements and WHS procedures
- Waterproofer: able to work well with other construction trades
- Tiler: Certificate III in Wall & Floor Tiling or equivalent
- Tiler: Minimum two years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Tiler: proven hands-on wall and floor tiling experience
- Tiler: strong attention to detail, measurements and finished presentation
- Tiler: able to read plans, drawings and specifications
- Tiler: practical understanding of surface preparation and waterproofing requirements
- Both roles: valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, plus a White Card
- Both roles: able to provide supporting evidence of qualifications and employment experience, and willing to complete relevant verification and recruitment checks
- Both roles: eligible for employer sponsorship
