The good news: you will not need to chase new customers, write quotes or follow up unpaid invoices. Projects are planned in advance, work is supplied directly to you and pay comes every week, so you can focus on doing quality tiling.
Your practical experience, trade skills, reliability and ability to meet professional standards will all be assessed. Suitably verified, experienced tradespeople, whether from the Philippines or elsewhere, can build a strong ongoing working relationship here.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, set out and lay tiles accurately
- Deliver tiling projects to a consistently high standard
- Do waterproofing and wet-area preparation, plus screeding so surfaces are properly prepared
- Finish grouting and related finishing work
- Use epoxy grout where needed (training is available)
- Caulk and seal for a clean, professional finish
- Take off and refit basic shower screens when required
- Check finished work and fix any finishing issues
- Stay accurate, neat and detail-focused on every project
- Keep the work area clean, safe and organised, and follow workplace health and safety requirements
- Talk to customers professionally while on the job
- Stick to project schedules and finish allocated work within agreed timeframes
- Represent the team well by giving reliable service and quality workmanship
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years' tiling and waterproofing experience
- Proven hands-on tiling skills across different kinds of projects
- Practical waterproofing and screeding experience
- Experience removing and refitting basic shower screens
- Great attention to detail and a real commitment to quality
- Professional, customer-friendly communication skills, and English-speaking
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Your own suitable commercial vehicle
- Current White Card
- Valid ABN plus appropriate business and public liability insurances
- Australian work rights or eligibility for sponsorship
- If you are applying for sponsorship, you need to be locally based in South Australia

- Able to work independently while keeping workmanship standards high
