If you love making guests feel at home, this could be a great next step, kabayan. A cheerful Mexican-themed restaurant in central Christchurch is looking for four experienced Waitstaff who give outstanding service and serve food and drinks following the house selling system.
The crew here are encouraged to be themselves and have fun on shift, while staying alert to what each guest needs. Many readers who have worked in hotels or restaurants overseas will recognise that mix of warmth and focus.
It is a full-time role of at least 30 hours a week, covering nights, weekends and the busy summer months, with regular in-house training on food, beverage and service. The restaurant is an accredited employer and can assist with the immigration process if required, which supports AEWV sponsorship.
