Do you know what it takes to keep a busy venue running well, from service and stock control to staffing and the customer experience? A busy hospitality venue is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to take charge.
This role suits a hospitality professional who has truly managed teams, coordinated service and made practical calls in a fast-moving venue. Your hands-on experience, leadership and understanding of hospitality operations will be at the centre of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after the day-to-day running of a busy hospitality venue, keeping things smooth during peak periods
- Own how front of house performs and how service is delivered
- Lead and supervise the team during trading hours, setting the standard by leading from the floor
- Put together and manage staff rosters
- Train, coach and support your team members
- Keep service and the customer experience consistently high, and handle feedback and issues well
- Take care of stock ordering and inventory
- Keep an eye on labour, stock and running costs
- Organise functions, events and special bookings
- Spot operational challenges, put good solutions in place and keep the workplace culture professional and positive
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven background in venue management or senior hospitality supervision, with demonstrated and verifiable hospitality industry experience
- Strong understanding of how front-of-house operations work
- Experience leading and growing hospitality teams
- Confident running service when the venue is busy
- Knowledge of rostering, labour management and cost control, plus experience with stock management and ordering
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to manage functions and events
- Well organised and able to juggle competing priorities
- A hands-on leadership style and a professional attitude, leading by example
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated industry experience, and the ability to provide evidence for the skills and employment history you claim
