  • Prepare yearly marketing plans focused on growing the brand, winning new customers and lifting commercial performance
  • Plan and manage launches for the brand, its vehicles, model variants and any new propositions, working with PR and communications teams to support each launch and build the brand's reputation
  • Run integrated campaigns across digital, social, media, CRM, content, experiential and retail channels
  • Take the global brand direction and turn it into marketing activity that makes sense for Australian customers
  • Grow brand awareness, market consideration and customer demand
  • Design customer programs covering acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention, guided by market research, customer insights and competitor intelligence
  • Look after media strategy, channel planning and how campaigns perform
  • Organise premium events, partnerships, sponsorships and customer activations
  • Develop dealer and retail marketing that supports sales results and keeps the brand consistent, partnering with sales, product, aftersales, customer experience and network teams
  • Oversee creative, media, digital and specialist agencies, giving them clear briefs, timelines, deliverables and performance expectations
  • Handle marketing budgets and make sure resources are put to good use
  • Track campaign results, report performance to senior leadership and find ways to improve customer engagement, campaign effectiveness and return on investment
  • Set up practical marketing processes, frameworks and reporting structures, and help the marketing function grow as the business expands

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Strong senior-level experience in brand, product, integrated or strategic marketing, with a proven record of successful multi-channel campaigns
  • Experience in automotive or another premium, luxury or high-consideration consumer category; experience in technology, travel, financial services, premium consumer goods or related industries will also be considered
  • A strong understanding of the Australian consumer and the competitive marketplace
  • Experience supporting a new brand, product, market entry or major commercial launch is advantageous
  • Solid know-how in brand development, digital marketing, CRM, media, content and experiential marketing
  • Able to link long-term brand strategy with short-term commercial goals, and to adapt global or regional marketing strategies for local markets
  • Strong financial and commercial understanding, including hands-on management of marketing budgets
  • Proven ability to manage agencies, suppliers and external partners
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, plus the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work well across multiple functions
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • At ease in a fast-moving workplace where processes and priorities keep evolving
  • A proactive, commercially minded and highly accountable way of working
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
  • Australian work rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored employment, together with the ability and willingness to work within the nominated Australian state
  • Sponsorship is available for a suitably qualified candidate
