Building sites need scaffolding crews who are skilled, dependable and safety-minded, and an expanding team is looking for exactly those kinds of workers.
Experienced Scaffolders and people hoping to get started as a Scaffold Labourer can both apply. What matters is that you can show real hands-on ability, understand why site safety comes first and are ready to be part of a professional workplace. Your practical experience, tickets and reliability will all be looked at closely.
Suitable candidates can access 40–60 hours of work per week, ongoing opportunities and attractive overtime conditions. Construction experience gained as an OFW is still hands-on experience worth highlighting.
Key Responsibilities
- Put up, change and take down scaffolding structures following approved procedures
- Get scaffolding jobs done safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Inspect scaffold components and equipment before use and while in use
- Work safely at height, always using the right fall protection and personal protective equipment
- Understand what each site requires, take direction from supervisors and work hand in hand with scaffold crews and other construction workers
- Spot hazards or unsafe scaffold conditions and report them
- Keep the equipment and work area in order
- Finish assigned tasks while keeping quality and safety standards high
Requirements & Eligibility
- For Scaffolders: current White Card
- For Scaffolders: current Working at Heights ticket
- For Scaffolders: current Scaffolding ticket/licence
- For Scaffolders: relevant hands-on scaffolding experience, with the ability to show practical trade skills
- For Scaffolders: strong commitment to safety in the workplace
- For Scaffolders: physically able to carry out scaffolding duties
- For Scaffolders: reliable attendance and a professional attitude at work, and able to work well in a team
- For Scaffold Labourers: current White Card
- For Scaffold Labourers: Working at Heights ticket preferred
- For Scaffold Labourers: if you do not have a Working at Heights ticket, you may do ground-level duties only
- For Scaffold Labourers: construction or labouring experience is advantageous
- For Scaffold Labourers: good physical fitness and able to do manual work
- For Scaffold Labourers: reliable and punctual
- For Scaffold Labourers: a strong work ethic
- For Scaffold Labourers: willing to learn and grow your scaffolding skills
- For Scaffold Labourers: able to follow instructions and safety procedures
- For Scaffold Labourers: positive, team-oriented attitude
