Comfortable working at height and proud of your rope access tickets? A specialist building maintenance operation in Victoria is looking for qualified Rope Access Technicians at Level 1, 2 or 3.
The work mixes rope access with hands-on maintenance, from façade services and window cleaning to painting, caulking, glazing, inspections and remedial works across different building projects. Your certification level, logged rope hours, site experience and any trade qualifications will help decide which jobs and development paths suit you.
There is extra training on offer and a chance to move up into supervisory duties, a great next step for workers who have built their skills abroad.
Key Responsibilities
- Do rope access work following industry and site safety procedures
- Handle building maintenance and other high-access jobs, including commercial window cleaning on ropes
- Take care of painting, concrete repairs, caulking and sealing
- Help with glazing, façade maintenance, inspections and remedial projects
- Use and look after rope access equipment safely
- Spot and report hazards on site and any problems with equipment
- Keep your work accurate and professional
- Get along and work well with supervisors and others on site
- Join in ongoing training and development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current IRATA or SPRAT certification at Level 1, 2 or 3
- At least 500 logged rope access hours for Level 1 candidates
- Current Construction White Card
- Current First Aid certification
- Rope access experience that can be verified
- Demonstrated experience in window cleaning, painting, concrete repair, caulking or glazing is advantageous
- Strong commitment to safety at work
- Reliable attendance, a professional work ethic and good attention to detail
- Able to provide evidence of your qualifications, tickets and relevant work experience, and willing to complete additional training where required
- Australian driver's licence preferred
- Available for Monday to Friday work and occasional Saturdays
- Visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates
