From day one, you will have genuine ownership of the dining room and help shape the guest experience, the style of service and the operational culture of the restaurant.
This is a great fit for an established Restaurant Manager, or a very capable Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to move up. You get premium hospitality standards, strong leadership support and a genuine four-day working week. If you have built your front-of-house career in hotels and restaurants in the Middle East or back home in the Philippines, that experience is valuable here.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the whole front-of-house operation from start to finish
- Lead the floor through lunch and dinner service
- Make sure each guest enjoys a high-quality dining experience
- Set professional service standards and keep them high
- Look after staff performance and help each person develop
- Give clear, effective briefings before every service
- Handle reservations, seating and table allocation, and coordinate the timing and flow of service
- Keep a strong working relationship between the front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Develop junior managers and supervisors
- Manage labour costs and staff rosters
- Monitor compliance and operational requirements, review how the restaurant is performing and support operational reporting
- Build a professional hospitality team that is engaged in its work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience managing a premium restaurant
- A background in fine dining, hatted venues or comparable high-end hospitality
- Experience leading a front-of-house team
- Strong understanding of restaurant service standards
- Excellent skills in communication and guest engagement
- Experience in rostering and managing labour
- Strong leadership and the ability to develop a team
- A professional presentation and a confident leadership style
- Current driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle
