This permanent role is meant for someone ready to commit for the long haul. The successful RN will need to relocate to the regional NSW area and sign on for a minimum 2-year contract. Nurses from the Philippines and elsewhere who are already in Australia are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Give residents safe, caring and high-quality nursing care, supporting their ongoing health and wellbeing needs
- Assess residents, keep an eye on their health conditions, and notice and act on any change in their health
- Prepare, carry out and review each resident's care plan
- Give medications and treatments according to clinical requirements
- Keep clinical records complete and accurate
- Work hand in hand with care staff, doctors and allied health professionals, and talk clearly with residents and their families
- Protect residents' dignity, independence and quality of life in a safe, respectful care environment
- Follow clinical, aged care and workplace health and safety standards, and help keep the team positive and supportive
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, and you are currently working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Experience in aged care is highly regarded
- Valid Australian working rights and a current Police Check
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- A professional, reliable and caring approach to resident care, and able to work well in a multidisciplinary team
- Genuinely interested in a long-term career in regional NSW
- Willing to relocate and live in the regional NSW area
- Committed to a minimum 2-year employment contract
