Key Responsibilities
- Take on rail and track construction, maintenance and other project tasks, carrying out track work to the project specifications and safety requirements
- Put your proven rail industry skills and experience to work on the jobs you are given
- Work well alongside rail crews, supervisors and everyone else on site
- Stick to the rail safety procedures and workplace rules in place, keeping a professional standard in everything you do on the project
- Travel to other project sites when needed
- Use your rail competencies and qualifications in the right way
- Help with Thermit Welding work if you hold the right qualifications
- Keep the details of your skills, experience and competencies accurate
Requirements & Eligibility
- Genuine, verifiable hands-on experience in rail and track work that you can demonstrate
- A current KLE Profile
- Rail industry competencies relevant to the work
- Thermit Welding competency is advantageous
- Relevant qualifications, licences, tickets or certifications
- A strong grasp of rail safety and site procedures
- A reliable, adaptable attitude to project-based work, and able to travel when required
- Suitable overseas applicants may be considered for sponsorship
- Pay will be set according to your experience, competencies and suitability
