Pub & Restaurant Management Position

An established pub and restaurant is searching for an experienced Hospitality Manager who can own the daily operation, grow a strong team spirit and keep things running smoothly when the venue fills up.
The right person knows what hospitality management really involves, from rosters and stock control to customer service, developing staff and keeping the venue at its best. You will work closely with the owner and stay hands-on in the operation. If you have supervised a busy restaurant or bar in the Philippines, the Middle East or anywhere else, this could be your next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the everyday running of the pub and restaurant
- Lead and coordinate staff during service, stepping in on the floor whenever needed
- Prepare rosters and help with payroll admin
- Watch inventory, help with stock purchasing and ordering, and stay aware of stock usage and operating costs
- Coach, support and motivate the hospitality team
- Keep customer service consistently high
- Help with recruiting, inducting and the ongoing training of staff
- Make sure the venue stays clean and well presented
- Promote responsible service of alcohol and RSA compliance
- Work with the owner to find and put in place operational improvements
- Sort out day-to-day issues and make confident calls during busy periods, helping build a positive, professional and accountable culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated hospitality industry experience, including previous work in a supervisory or management position
- Proven ability to lead and manage hospitality staff
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a confident, professional manner towards customers and employees
- Able to handle busy service periods effectively
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Able to work on your own and take responsibility for operational decisions
- Current and valid RSA certification
- Must be 18 years or older
- Willing to be hands-on in venue operations, with a reliable and committed approach to work
- Able to travel reliably to and from the workplace
- Able to provide verifiable evidence of relevant hospitality experience
- Must meet applicable requirements for sponsorship
