Ready to take your construction experience further? This role is for a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer who wants to work on major civil, marine and recreational developments across Western Australia. Site experience gained in the Philippines, the Middle East or elsewhere overseas is all part of the background you bring.
What matters most is verified capability: the right engineering qualifications, real site experience and the skill to coordinate a project. You will join a team where engineers are trusted to own their work, coordinating contractors, managing interfaces and sorting out problems before they hold up delivery. Good practical judgement counts just as much as technical know-how.

Key Responsibilities
- Own your assigned construction activities and the results they deliver
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and specialist trades, and liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
- Run day-to-day site activities and keep track of how construction is progressing
- Help with project programming, scheduling and cost control
- Manage where civil, marine, structural and public realm works meet
- Oversee specialist works such as piling, fender systems and revetments, along with drainage, landscaping and related civil activities
- Review what the construction calls for and find practical ways to deliver it, including chances to improve constructability, efficiency and outcomes
- Keep quality documentation up to date, including ITPs, HIRACs and inspection records
- Check that work complies with safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Guide and support graduate and junior engineers
- Keep accurate project records and report on construction progress
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognised qualification
- For the Project Engineer level, 2–4 years of experience in civil or marine construction; for Senior Project Engineer positions, relevant senior-level construction and project delivery experience
- Previous site-based engineering experience preferred
- Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and construction teams
- A grasp of project scheduling, cost management and quality assurance
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, organisational and documentation skills
- Able to interpret construction requirements and resolve practical issues on site
- A strong commitment to safety and quality standards at work
- A proactive attitude and the ability to take ownership of your responsibilities
- Able to work well in multidisciplinary construction teams
- A genuine interest in delivering major infrastructure and community-focused projects
