The role is for experienced tradespeople who are proud of their precise, reliable, quality work. You will join a specialist team that delivers high-standard plumbing and heating solutions on premium building projects. Whether your experience comes from job sites in the Philippines, the Middle East or elsewhere, a verified candidate approach is used to match genuine tradespeople with employers looking for proven skills, practical experience and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain plumbing professionally on both residential and commercial projects
- Install hot and cold water systems, sanitary plumbing and fixtures
- Fit and look after pipework, valves, pumps and plumbing control systems
- Work on hydronic heating, such as underfloor heating pipework and heating parts, and install, replace and commission hot water cylinders and heat pump water heaters
- Help with HVAC-related plumbing installs and technical heating projects
- Read construction plans, drawings and specifications, then measure, prepare and put together pipework using the right trade techniques
- Do pressure tests, commissioning and performance checks on systems
- Find faults, fix them and come up with effective plumbing solutions
- Follow health and safety standards and keep every job site professional
- Work as a team with technicians, builders and other tradespeople
- Take good care of tools, equipment and company resources
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised plumbing qualification along with relevant industry experience
- New Zealand plumbing registration, or eligibility to achieve registration
- Minimum three years' experience in plumbing repairs, maintenance and installation
- Proven experience on commercial and residential plumbing projects
- Exposure to underfloor heating, hydronic heating or HVAC plumbing systems is advantageous
- Able to read and understand technical drawings, plans and project requirements
- Good technical problem-solving, attention to detail and a commitment to reliable service and high-quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a professional team
- A valid driver licence, or willingness to obtain one
- Able to show verified records of your employment history, qualifications and trade experience
- Suitable overseas candidates may be considered for AEWV sponsorship, based on eligibility requirements
