Are you the parts person who keeps a workshop running? An automotive organisation in New Zealand with a growing vehicle operation is looking for a Parts Coordinator who is accurate, dependable and knows how a workshop really works.

Good parts management is what keeps the repair team productive, and that is where you come in. Your background could be in parts coordination, purchasing, inventory control or service advising at a dealership. Here you can put it to use in an international workplace. If you built your experience in the Middle East or back home in the Philippines, that experience counts too.

Proven skills, industry experience and commitment to your career are what get recognised. Candidates who show strong automotive knowledge and reliability at work may be considered for visa sponsorship support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep the parts supply running smoothly for the workshop every day, checking what the technicians need and placing orders without delay
  • Talk with suppliers about stock availability, delivery times and any changes to orders
  • Check every delivery that arrives and make sure the parts match the specifications needed
  • Handle returns, cancelled orders and supplier credits, and keep the paperwork for each one
  • Keep purchase order files complete and every document accurate
  • Record stock movements and keep inventory details up to date, watching usage patterns so stock stays at the right level
  • Run regular stock counts and look into any figures that do not add up
  • Keep track of the workshop's tools and equipment through proper tracking records
  • Help the parts side and the workshop crew work together without hold-ups
  • Lend a hand with admin work for vehicle preparation and general workshop operations
  • Store and handle parts safely, following the workplace safety procedures

Requirements & Eligibility

  • A proven background in automotive parts, purchasing, stock control or dealership operations, with automotive industry experience that suits a career overseas
  • If you have worked as a Service Advisor and have solid workshop admin skills, you will also be considered
  • A good grasp of how automotive repairs are done and which parts each job needs
  • Careful attention to detail, excellent record keeping, and the ability to organise your tasks, meet deadlines and handle shifting priorities
  • Clear, professional communication with suppliers and with your own team
  • Comfortable using computer systems for data entry, reports and reconciliation
  • A positive attitude and openness to learning and adapting to new systems
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Applicants who meet the experience requirements may be eligible to be considered for visa sponsorship
