It is a full-time, permanent role in the Painting Division of a Western Australian company with over 25 years in residential and commercial painting.
Your days would involve guiding a team across a number of sites and reporting to the Painting Manager. The company takes pride in getting the small things right, delivering projects on time, creating specialty finishes and wallcoverings, and keeping customers happy, so a high standard of work is expected. Painting and decorating experience from commercial construction suits the role best.
There is also good news on the visa side, as TSS482 sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Painting Manager
- Inspire your crew and work alongside them across numerous sites
- Manage projects from day to day
- Guide and manage the members of your team
- Come up with solutions when problems happen, or work with the Painting Manager to reach a positive outcome
- Keep sites safe by following OSH policies, company procedures and induction manuals
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade Certified Painter (an apprenticeship must be completed)
- A proven history working as leading hand or 2IC
- Skill in managing projects and team members
- Strong in communication and organisation
- Can offer solutions, or work with the Painting Manager toward a positive outcome, when problems come up
- Detail-minded for quality control and able to read project drawings such as floor plans and elevations
- Manual driver's license
- White card
- Not a subcontractor or ABN holder
- Desirable - EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket
- Desirable - First Aid
- Desirable - airless spraying experience
- Current National Criminal History Check
