Your work will cover container devanning, inbound receiving, restocking, keeping the warehouse organised and, now and then, filling orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive forklifts safely and responsibly around the warehouse
- Unload incoming containers and shipments with care, devan containers and sort the goods received
- Take in and check new stock accurately, confirming quantities, product condition and receiving details
- Top up stock and keep storage areas neat and organised
- Pick and pack customer orders when needed
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy to a high standard
- Follow health, safety and operating procedures at work
- Plan your daily tasks so the workflow stays efficient
- Work well alongside warehouse and logistics teammates
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods or receiving problems, and be ready to adapt and help in other areas when priorities change
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current and valid forklift licence
- Relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution or stock handling, backed by genuine employment history you can verify
- Able to show practical skill in warehouse work and forklift handling
- Careful attention to detail when receiving, storing and managing stock
- Reliable attendance and a professional attitude toward your duties
- Able to work on your own with little supervision
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Able to follow set procedures accurately
- Committed to workplace health and safety standards
- Physically able to do warehouse and manual handling work
- MPI Accredited Person certification is an advantage; an understanding of MPI requirements for container handling is also an advantage
- Able to meet the applicable requirements for employer-sponsored employment
