This is not repetitive production line work. You will be involved in custom fabrication, workshop projects and on-site installation, where your know-how and hands-on skills make a real difference. It suits experienced tradespeople who value precision, problem-solving and craftsmanship, including those who have worked on fabrication projects in the Middle East or the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle fabrication and welding work on customised projects
- Make quality components from steel, aluminium and stainless-steel
- Read workshop drawings, technical plans and project specs
- Choose the right fabrication methods and welding techniques for each job
- Use fabrication machinery, tools and workshop equipment safely, always following workplace health and safety requirements
- Do installation and field work when needed
- Spot problems and come up with practical, trade-based fixes
- Work alongside project teams to hit quality targets and deadlines
- Keep your work accurate, detailed and to a professional standard
- Share your technical knowledge and ideas to support continuous improvement
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding or similar
- Demonstrated experience in professional fabrication and welding environments, working with various metals and fabrication processes
- Able to show strong technical skills and past project experience
- Competent at reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Strong commitment to quality, reliability and safety at work
- Can work well independently or with a team, with a practical, detail-focused approach to problem-solving
- Willing to take on workshop-based duties and occasional site-based duties
- Overseas-qualified tradespeople with verifiable experience are encouraged to apply
- Candidates who meet the skill, qualification and experience requirements may be eligible for employer sponsorship
