One of Australia's largest carrot, onion and potato growers and packers is taking on several MC truck drivers to move its harvest between farm and packing sites in South Australia, ready for supermarkets, local stores and export.
You will be part of a transport crew under the Transport Manager. The posting is at a regional South Australian site, so plan to settle there, and expect a 7-day roster with start times that shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Transport the farm's produce and keep your truck running well
- Inspect the truck from top to bottom before and after every trip, and report anything wrong
- Make sure each load and every strap is secured to National Heavy Vehicle Standards before you head out
- Keep the truck clean and complete the checks and reports required
- Keep careful records of produce carried, delivered and returned, and maintain logs following company procedures, always within the safety guidelines and health and safety policies
Requirements & Eligibility
- A current unrestricted MC licence is essential
- A High Risk Work Licence is essential
- Two years of truck driving experience before this role
- Know-how and ability to drive a manual road ranger transmission
- A strong work ethic
- Willingness to help with all sorts of hands-on work
- Flexible enough for a 7-day roster with changing start times
- Eye for detail, with paperwork completed accurately
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle laws and regulations, including load restraint
- Knowledge of basic mechanics and maintenance
- Fresh produce transport or tautliner and tipper experience is highly regarded
