Are you a Brick Paver / Hard Landscaper with more to offer than just your trade skills? A commercial landscaping business in Western Australia wants someone who shows real ability, reliability and a professional attitude every day.
You will join a hands-on crew building commercial paving and hard landscaping projects at different metropolitan sites. A strong track record, practical skill and the right attitude can lead to long-term employment and career growth, and if you prove yourself on site, the job can develop into a Leading Hand or Supervisory pathway.
If you have done paving or landscaping work in the Middle East or back home in the Philippines, this could be a great chance to keep building on it.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on brick paving and hard landscaping projects, laying pavers neatly, accurately and efficiently
- Get the ground and surfaces ready before paving starts
- Take measurements, check levels and mark out the site
- Cut paving materials and give them a clean finish
- Handle trade tools and equipment the right way
- Keep the quality of finished work consistent, following the site plans and project specifications
- Keep your work area safe and tidy, and stick to the safety procedures and site rules
- Talk clearly with your teammates
- Travel to project sites around the metropolitan area
- Show initiative, own your tasks and help find more efficient ways of working on site
- Grow into Leading Hand or supervisory duties when the time is right
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant experience in brick paving or hard landscaping, with demonstrable practical trade capability
- A reliable employment history and a professional work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive, cooperative attitude
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- White Card
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel throughout the metropolitan area
- Physically able to do hands-on outdoor work
- Commitment to quality and safety
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career
- Eligible for employment in Australia, with sponsorship available for suitable candidates
