Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook the restaurant's dishes the way the menu and its quality standards require
- Keep the kitchen spotless and in good order while observing hygiene and food safety regulations
- Stay efficient during rush periods in a fast-moving kitchen and cooperate with co-workers for a smooth service
- Assist in looking after stock and in keeping waste to a minimum
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience as a Chef, gained in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong passion for Italian cuisine
- Enjoyment of cooking with quality ingredients that are fresh
- Can keep up in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork
- Open to a flexible schedule, with weekend and evening shifts
- Italian-style pizza skills such as stretching, topping and oven work are preferred but not essential, since full training is provided for the right candidate
