Hotel Manager

Are you a hands-on leader who likes being where the action is? An established hotel in NSW is looking for a capable and energetic Hotel Manager for a long-term opportunity.
This is not a desk job. One moment you might be helping guests, the next you could be organising staff, talking with contractors or sorting out a maintenance problem. No two days will be the same.
If you have looked after guests and teams in the Philippines, the Middle East or anywhere else and you enjoy that kind of variety, this role is worth a closer look.
Key Responsibilities
- Look after the day-to-day running of the hotel and help keep it performing well over time
- Be there for guests, helping and supporting them in person
- Organise staff, contractors and service providers
- Keep in touch with suppliers and outside organisations
- Act fast when operational problems come up, find out what is wrong and arrange repairs where needed
- Make sure work gets done efficiently and well
- Lend a hand with minor maintenance and property issues
- Keep the hotel safe, organised and welcoming
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong English communication skills
- Management experience, or proven ability to manage
- Experience in hospitality or accommodation is advantageous
- A practical, hands-on way of working, plus the ability to adapt when situations change
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Excellent at solving problems
- Confident working on your own and making decisions
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills are highly regarded
- Interest in building a long-term career, and willingness to relocate within NSW
- Visa sponsorship available for suitable eligible candidates
