Kabayan, if you are a heavy vehicle mechanic already based in Australia with work rights, this Perth opening could be your next step. A family-owned transport and tourism company in Western Australia is hiring a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to look after its coaches and buses.
Your days will be spent servicing, modifying, diagnosing and repairing a diverse fleet so it stays safe, reliable and presentable. Now and then you may be sent to other locations in WA. If you have worked on buses or coaches, whether at home or as an OFW, that is highly regarded, though it is not essential.
Employer sponsorship is available for suitably qualified applicants. Casual or full-time work is possible, with hours and shifts talked through at interview, and applications close on 21 November 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and inspect the vehicles in line with company standards, and install and repair mechanical components
- Diagnose, service and repair different heavy vehicles
- Keep fleet and repair records up to manufacturer specifications and the WA omnibus vehicle maintenance program
- Help maintain vehicle monitoring systems like wifi, GPS tracking, communications, CCTV and sensors
- Update service records online, keep the workshop in order and test drive vehicles as needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Heavy commercial vehicle mechanical trade qualification or something similar
- Hands-on work with heavy diesel vehicles
- Buses and coaches experience preferred, not essential
- Strong ability to diagnose faults
- Familiarity with WA transport compliance requirements
- Current Australian working rights
- A current driver's licence (HR class is highly regarded)
- A working at heights certificate and relevant high risk work licences, or willing to obtain them
