Key Responsibilities
- Style and finish hair to a high standard for every client
- Do blow-dries, upstyles, braids and special-occasion looks
- Create looks tailored to what each client wants
- Get clients ready for weddings, events and photoshoots
- Keep your workmanship and personal presentation polished
- Give friendly, professional service and team up with colleagues so every client has a smooth experience
- Help out on events, campaigns and creative projects in the industry
- Stay up to date with hair trends and styling techniques, and join education programs and industry masterclasses
- Use professional products and tools the right way
- Help keep the workplace positive and collaborative
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant hairstyling qualification, or substantial professional experience
- Proven skill across a range of hairstyling techniques, gained in a professional salon or similar setting
- Great communication and customer service skills
- A creative mindset and real passion for the beauty industry
- Able to keep quality high even under time pressure
- Well-presented and focused on your clients
- Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic and a commitment to keep learning and developing
- Comfortable working as part of a team and willing to join salon, event and creative opportunities
- Eligible candidates who need sponsorship may be considered
