Key Responsibilities
- Give professional hairdressing and styling services that suit each client's needs
- Hold consultations with clients and suggest styles and treatments that fit them
- Use your technical know-how to get quality finishes and consistent results in cutting, styling, colouring and other services
- Build a loyal personal client following through dependable, personalised service
- Keep things professional from the start to the end of every appointment
- Help the salon reach its targets without letting service quality slip
- Stay up to date with current techniques, products and trends, and recommend suitable professional haircare products
- Keep your workspace clean, organised and welcoming
- Work on your own while being a good team player in the salon
- Join training and keep developing professionally
Requirements & Eligibility
- Professional experience as a Hairdresser or Stylist, with a proven record
- Solid hands-on knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
- Able to show genuine, verifiable industry experience and give evidence to support your previous professional experience
- Confident when consulting with clients and styling
- Strong communication and people skills
- Committed to quality work and happy clients
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Reliable, organised and professionally presented, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ready to learn and adapt as industry trends change
- A relevant hairdressing qualification and/or substantial professional experience
- Employer sponsorship may be considered for eligible candidates
