A verified field service opening in Western Australia is looking for qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics, with a clear, transparent pathway to a genuine role with an established employer. If you have kept heavy equipment running back home in the Philippines, in the Middle East or elsewhere, this is a chance to put that experience forward.
You will give field-based mechanical support across a range of heavy equipment: responding to breakdowns, tracking down faults, doing maintenance and supporting operations on client sites.
Your qualifications and work experience will be professionally assessed and verified, which gives both you and the employer more confidence along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Head out to breakdowns in the field and carry out timely repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment
- Find and fix mechanical and equipment faults
- Complete preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Help with shutdowns and with moving equipment when needed
- Work confidently on major OEM heavy equipment, keeping workmanship to a high standard on every job
- Plan and manage your day so deadlines are met
- Write accurate service reports and maintenance records
- Keep clients, site representatives and teammates informed through clear communication
- Follow workplace and site safety procedures and be a positive part of a professional, safety-first team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification or an equivalent relevant qualification
- Relevant experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, including repairing and maintaining heavy mobile equipment
- Strong skills in diagnostics, fault-finding and problem-solving
- Experience with major OEM equipment is highly regarded
- Valid driver's licence that meets the role requirements
- High Risk Work Licence for LF and/or WP is advantageous
- Able to work well in a field service setting
- Good understanding of safe work practices
- Able to complete the required pre-employment assessments
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Your qualifications, work history and professional identity must be verifiable; eligible international candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship
