Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-quality garden maintenance for homes and commercial properties, including pruning, hedging, weeding, planting and looking after plant health
- Keep every garden at a premium standard by paying attention to the little things and always looking for ways to improve
- Lead and support the team so daily work runs efficiently
- Pass on your horticulture knowledge and guide junior team members and apprentices
- Plan your assigned tasks and finish them on time
- Spot ways to improve a garden and suggest the right maintenance solutions
- Use and look after gardening equipment safely and properly, working closely with the team to keep service quality consistent
- Represent the business professionally and keep good relationships with clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in horticulture, garden maintenance or landscaping, with a relevant horticulture qualification or strong industry experience
- Able to handle garden maintenance tasks on your own with confidence
- Experience working in a team and supporting others as a leader
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
- A reliable, honest and committed attitude, plus excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good organisation and time management
- Able to work with hand tools, machinery and industry equipment
- A current manual driver's licence
- Candidates with suitable experience or qualifications may be considered for sponsorship visa opportunities
