Every shift asks for the skills many of you have built over years at the bedside: reading a patient quickly, making a plan, carrying it out and checking the response, all while working hand in hand with doctors and allied staff. Families lean on the nurse too, so warmth and clear explanations matter as much as clinical skill.
Like most emergency work, kabayan, the roster rotates and includes evenings, nights and weekends. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Read each emergency patient quickly and build a plan of care
- Give that care and review how the patient responds
- Provide care that is safe, effective and built around the patient
- Stay beside patients and their families with clear, kind explanations through treatment
- Work hand in hand with the multidisciplinary emergency team
- Cover evenings, nights and weekends on a rotating roster
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years of nursing experience after finishing your degree (post-graduate)
- A postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing, or its equivalent
- The ability to give high-quality nursing care that matches professional competency standards
- Strong critical thinking, communication and clinical decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently or with a multidisciplinary team
