Have solid experience as an electrician? This opening is for experienced electricians who hold recognised New Zealand electrical certification and want to take their trade into a new work environment, where their qualifications, experience and practical ability are properly assessed and matched with suitable work.
The work on offer may cover industrial maintenance, major shutdowns and project-based electrical assignments. Each candidate is considered based on verified trade credentials, past industry experience and their preferred working arrangement, with both relocation and FIFO options available.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle electrical installation, maintenance and repair work, including assigned maintenance, shutdown and project tasks, to the required standards
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment and facilities to find faults and defects, then diagnose them and complete the right corrective work
- Read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and technical documents
- Carry out electrical testing and inspections as required
- Keep job records and compliance paperwork accurate
- Follow site-specific electrical procedures and safe work practices
- Work together with supervisors, project teams and other trades
- Help keep electrical systems reliable and compliant
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hold a recognised New Zealand Electrical Certification
- Proven experience as a qualified electrician
- Relevant experience in industrial, infrastructure or mining work
- Practical electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills you can demonstrate
- An understanding of electrical safety, compliance and site procedures
- Able to read electrical drawings and technical information
- Willing to work in Queensland or Western Australia, including FIFO shutdown work in Western Australia where applicable
- Australian working rights, or eligibility for an Australian work visa
- Applicants who need visa sponsorship may be considered
- You must be able to show evidence of your qualifications and relevant experience
