You would be the person who keeps the fleet safe and reliable: servicing heavy trucks, sorting out brake and electrical problems, checking trailers and writing clear job reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Keep heavy diesel trucks and semi-trailers serviced, maintained and repaired
- Work out and repair mechanical, electrical, brake and suspension faults
- Handle preventative maintenance and planned servicing
- Repair air brakes, axles, wheel bearings, landing legs and trailer components
- Carry out safety checks and keep everything NHVR compliant, with records and job reports done properly
- Work efficiently and keep quality high
Requirements & Eligibility
- Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with trailer maintenance and air brake systems
- Can work on your own or with a team
- An HC/MC driver's licence is an advantage
- Strong work ethic
- A real commitment to safety
