If you have built your career in hospital pharmacy, at home or as an OFW, this could be your next step. A Clinical Pharmacist is needed for hospital roles across the Northern Territory, listed in Darwin, with permanent and short-term options.
Your days would be spent on the wards: going through what patients are taking, reconciling their medicines, counselling them, and keeping medication use safe together with the doctors, nurses and allied health professionals around you.
Overseas pharmacists with relevant experience are welcome to apply, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates in the permanent positions. You will need current AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain it; that is something you arrange, not something the role provides.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy care on hospital wards
- Review patient medication and complete reconciliation
- Counsel patients and give them clear medicines information
- Help keep medication management safe and effective as part of a medical, nursing and allied health team
- Take part in medication safety and quality improvement work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hospital pharmacy or clinical pharmacy experience
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligible to obtain it
- Australian or New Zealand internship completed, in progress or nearly complete; overseas pharmacists with relevant experience are also encouraged
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to high-quality patient care
