Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality food in a professional kitchen, using advanced cooking techniques and keeping every dish consistent and well presented
- Help run the kitchen each day across prep, service and coordination
- Work together with fellow chefs and hospitality staff so service runs smoothly, and help keep the team positive and efficient
- Use your knowledge of food handling, prep methods and kitchen procedures, and follow health, safety and food hygiene rules
- Check quality at every stage of food production
- Juggle several priorities at once during busy, high-volume service
- Keep learning and building your culinary knowledge and kitchen skills
Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified Chef with recognised culinary qualifications and relevant industry experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality restaurant, hotel or similar professional kitchen
- Able to show genuine hands-on cooking skills and industry capability, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation and service standards
- Previous work in a structured hospitality environment
- Able to provide a verified employment background and professional references
- Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high standards of food quality and customer experience
