Kabayan, if you have spent years cooking in busy commercial kitchens, this Chef opening at a golf club in north-east Victoria could be your next step. The club's trade is growing, and its kitchen team of head chef, sous chef and kitchenhands needs a passionate, motivated cook to join them.
The area is a favourite with holidaymakers who come for snow skiing, water skiing, boating, fishing and bushwalks, and the town has what you need for comfortable country living. You would report to the Head Chef, with real chances to develop your career, and the start is immediate.
This role is for applicants who are already in Australia with valid work rights. Sponsorship may be available to exceptional applicants after a successful trial period, so give it your best from the first shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook menu items to the standard the kitchen expects
- Watch the quality of each dish from preparation through to presentation
- Train and supervise new and less experienced kitchen staff
- Supervise the cooks and help out when they need it
- Share out tasks among the team and follow hygiene regulations
- Monitor food stock and place orders
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial cookery qualifications and experience (Cert 3 or higher)
- Commercial kitchen experience of 2 years minimum
- Flexible availability, including a mix of weekdays and weekends for a 7-day operation
- Good communication skills
- Can work unsupervised and also as part of a team
- Understanding of food hygiene and OH&S requirements
- Valid work rights in Australia
