Key Responsibilities
- Cook great-quality food across different sections of the kitchen, and take charge of a section when you are assigned one
- Prep ingredients and keep stock at the right levels
- Send out every dish at the required standard of quality and presentation
- Stick to the kitchen's systems, recipes and service procedures
- Follow food safety and hygiene rules all the time
- Stay efficient when service gets busy and help kitchen operations run smoothly together
- Talk clearly with fellow Chefs and the restaurant staff
- Help train and develop junior team members
- Share ideas that can lift food quality and kitchen performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Open to apprentices, junior Chefs, qualified Chefs and senior Chefs
- Commercial cookery experience is preferred, and relevant qualifications are desirable depending on the level of the role
- Solid knowledge of food preparation and how a kitchen operates
- A commitment to high standards in food quality and presentation
- Understands food safety and hygiene procedures
- Can handle pressure and juggle multiple tasks, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Works well with others as part of a professional team
- For experienced and senior-level applicants, leadership skills are preferred
- Overseas applicants who are eligible may be able to access employer sponsorship opportunities
