An award-winning modern Asian restaurant is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie or Commis Chef to join a kitchen team that is already successful, cooking food with big, bold and balanced flavours.
The restaurant opens seven days a week for both lunch and dinner and serves over 1,000 covers each week. Because it belongs to a hospitality precinct where a single shared kitchen looks after several venues, your days will be full and varied. The good news is that the senior chefs really like to train people and grow the next leaders of the kitchen. Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Send out exceptional food, consistently, every service
- Follow the recipes and directions given by the senior chefs and managers
- Take your turn on different sections such as pans, wok and fryers
- Also work the larder and grill when needed
- Work independently in a kitchen that is fast-paced and high-volume
- Help the shared kitchen look after the several venues in the precinct
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years as a chef, gained in a kitchen that is high-volume and fast-paced
- Experience that fits the position you are applying for
- Asian cuisine experience preferred, but not essential
- A commercial cookery certificate
- Ready to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays included, with the drive and willingness to grow into a leadership role
