Key Responsibilities
- Build and refresh the menu
- Watch over food quality and production
- Prepare food costings
- Manage and cost the kitchen labour
- Keep to executive management standards and meet the agreed KPIs
- Assist in recruiting, inducting and training kitchen staff
- Keep good communication with management and staff, and keep the kitchen hygienic, clean and safe
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume venue like this one
- Cert III or Cert IV in Cookery
- Strong grasp of kitchen operations with emphasis on food quality and presentation
- Sound financial capability in handling kitchen costs
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership to manage a multi-faceted kitchen
- A hands-on leader who coaches and motivates the team
- A high degree of professionalism and an energetic, enthusiastic approach
- Proven problem-solving capability
- Able to build and contribute to teamwork across the whole venue
