Kabayan, if you have fitted ceilings and partitions on big commercial builds, this Perth opening could be your next step. A Ceiling Fixer / Gypsum Board Installer is needed full-time for long-term work on major commercial projects in Western Australia.
Day to day you would handle suspended grid and board ceilings, acoustic systems, stud framing and bulkheads, reading the drawings and setting out your own areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Install T-bar / grid suspended ceilings as well as plasterboard ceilings
- Fit acoustic ceiling systems together with ceiling framing, furring channels and suspension systems
- Build steel stud walls and partitions and fix plasterboard / gypsum board, including fire-rated and acoustic systems
- Create bulkheads and specialist interior features
- Read the plans, measure up, set out and work on your own
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong commercial experience in ceilings
- Strong commercial experience in partitions, plasterboard and interior systems
- Can read and interpret plans
- Can measure, set out and work independently
- Hospitals, schools, apartments, offices, high-rise or major commercial projects in New Zealand on your record are of particular interest
- Strong spoken English with a good employment history
- Can explain clearly at interview what work you personally completed
